ONDO STATE GOVERNOR, ROTIMI AKEREDOLU SET A COMMITTEE THAT WILL LOOK INTO THE ISSUE OF CIVIL SERVANTS SALARIES UNPAID
Ondo state Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu has sets up a committee that will look into the matter of backlog of salary arrears owned civil servants in the state with a view to finding earnest solution to it .
Akeredolu in his first offcial day in office this monday met workers of the state in Akure,the state capital.
The Governor reiterated that the state workforce should be the first point of contact due to the 7 months salary arrears owed them by the immediate past government of Olusegun Mimiko.
Akeredolu however call for the support of all workers and prepared them ahead for a hardworking session saying it is time for Ondo state to move forward. Governor Akeredolu went further to appeal to the state doctors who had embark on strike action to resume immediately promising to look into their matter.
